Christmas Light Installation for Your Terrell Home

Picture pulling into your driveway on a December evening and seeing your home lit the way you always imagined. We plan lighting for rooflines, entrances and the accents you choose, then handle installation, seasonal maintenance and removal. We're based in Forney and now welcome requests from Terrell homeowners; text your full address and we'll confirm availability for your home.

Plan the view

Start with the view that welcomes you home.

You don't need lights on every edge of the house. Stand at the curb or the end of your driveway and notice what you see first. Use that view to choose the features you'd most enjoy.

A clear roofline, not every roofline

Choose the roof edges that shape your home's silhouette from the street, usually the main front gables and eaves. Sections you can't see from the curb add linear footage, and footage is a big part of price. Lighting the lines that matter keeps the display crisp and the estimate sensible.

The front entrance

The front door is where guests slow down, so it deserves a deliberate touch. Ask about outlining the porch, adding lights to columns, or lighting the roofline directly above the door so the entrance reads clearly at night. Decide whether it should match the roofline color or stand out on its own.

Accents you actually want

A wrapped tree, a lit garage line, or a few windows can round out the look. Pick one or two you'll enjoy rather than covering everything. If you want lighting along a walkway, follow the actual path you and your guests take to the door, not the edge of the lawn or a gravel bed.

The easiest way to start is a daytime photo of your home's frontage taken from across the street or the far end of the driveway, with the whole roofline in frame. Open it on your phone and use the markup tool to draw over the roof edges, entrance, trees or walkway you'd like lit, with a note on colors. Add a close-up of your siding or fascia so we can see the surface, since the mounting method affects the estimate. Text the photos and your full street address to (214) 557-7809, or describe the same features in the estimate form. If you'd like to see concepts first, the same photo works in the free AI Design Tool; the preview is inspiration rather than a measured plan.

Questions homeowners ask before booking

What affects the price of a Christmas display on my home?

Price depends on the quantity of lights, including linear footage, and the style and location of the lighting, such as rooflines, entrances or wrapped trees. The mounting method matters too: magnetic mounts on siding cost more than hot-glue mounting. Send photos and the areas you want lit, and we'll price that specific work for your home.

Do I lease or buy the lights, and who handles removal and storage?

Both options are available. With leased lights, we keep ownership, install the display in your estimate, remove it after the holidays, and store the lights until next season, so nothing goes in your attic. We also sell lights if you'd rather own them. Either way, we'll explain how installation, seasonal maintenance and removal are arranged when we plan your project.

When should I schedule my installation?

October is usually a good time to book, November can work, and December generally offers fewer dates. Tell us your preferred ready date when you request an estimate and we'll confirm current availability. Include your full home address in Terrell so we can check coverage and discuss timing for your installation.

What happens if a leased light goes bad during the season?

Text us at (214) 557-7809 with your address and a photo if you can. Leased lights that go bad are replaced at no charge under our warranty, and we help with loose clips or other issues so your display looks the way it should through the season. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, but you can text anytime.
